Oktoberfest at Snowbird in Utah

Oktoberfest in Utah has been going on for over 35 years and is a wonderful tradition started by Snowbird.

Admission Fee: Free
Hours: noon to 6:00 pm
Dates are run each Saturday and Sunday except for the Labor Day Holiday:
August 23rd - 24th
August 30th - 31st
Monday September 1st Labor Day
September 6th - 7th
September 13th - 14th
September 20th - 21st
September 27th - 28th
October 4th - 5th

Features:
  • Local State Breweries
  • Great German foods like Bratwurst and sauerkraut, pretzels and more
  • Entertainment including dancing, juggling and magic
  • Face painting for children
  • SnowBird Summer Activities like zip rider, tram, alpine slide etc

Recommendations:

  • sweater or overcoat as it gets colder in the higher elevations
  • drink lots of water if you are visiting Utah and not use to the higher elevation
  • Snowbird is part of the SLC protected Watershed and you can be fined for having pets up in the mountains as their waste affects the drinking water
  • Leave pets at home
